IFFCO and Congelados de Navarra (CN Corp.), a leading frozen food company in Spain, established a joint venture called "CN IFFCO Private Limited" in February 2019, to set up a vegetable processing project in Samrala, located in the Ludhiana District of Punjab. IFFCO and CN Corp hold 40% and 60% equity respectively in the Company.
As a result of the slump in the hospitality industry after the COVID-19 pandemic, CN IFFCO management decided to put the project activities on hold.
