Nano Urea Plant - Aonla
As a part of IFFCO’s effort in fulfilling the vision of the Government of India to reduce usage of chemical fertilisers, sustainable crop production, maintaining soil health and making nation carbon neutral by 2070, IFFCO by extensive research & development has developed Nano technology-based fertilizer, Nano Urea.
Nano Urea is used as foliar application at active crop growth stages. Usage of Nano Urea replaces consumption of prilled / granulated urea with better crop yield, saving soil and air from pollution by way of efficient utilization of Nano Urea by crop and reduction in Green House Gases emission during production.
Nano Fertilizer Plant, Aonla was successfully commissioned on 21.12.2022 to become world’s 2nd Nano Urea plant. Nano Fertilizer plant at IFFCO Aonla is an example of state-of-the-art engineering & technology. A world class totally automatic plant has been installed with utilization of cutting edge technologies and needs almost no manual intervention.
Plant was dedicated to the Nation by Honourable Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers Shri Mansukh Mandaviya ji ,on 14.02.2023. Plant has capacity of producing 2 lakh bottles of Nano Urea per day. Complete integrated plant is expanded in about 4 hectare area. Plant consists of facilities including Bottle manufacturing, Cap manufacturing, Bottles & Caps silos, fully automatic bottling line with wrap around case packer, Production area, Automatic storage & retrieval system for storage of 15 days production, Effluent treatment plant, Sewage treatment plant etc.
Plant has a dedicated NABL accredited laboratory to comply to stringent quality norms and equipped with world class equipment .
